certified. The successful candidate will exhibit the clear thinking required to apply and accommodate our QMS within the variety of markets we serve.
Quality Engineer - Advanced
Ultimate position requires oversight of all quality management functions:

Ensure that Quality Management System (QMS) processes are established, implemented and maintained in conjunction with company Quality Policy

Perform visual / dimensional inspections as required to meet production demands
-
Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.

New hire QMS orientation, continuous QMS training for existing employees related to their own roles and responsibilities.
-
Control of QMS records management, identification, evidence of implementation and use, archival, retention, protection and reference of said records.

Ensure products meet customer requirements
-
Inspection policies and procedures are current and in place
-
Ensure proper functioning and calibration of inspection and relevant process equipment
-
Composition or Confirmation and maintenance of Work Instructions, SOP’s
-
Quality input on Quotation Review and Contract Review Team
-
Quality input on Change Management Team
-
Management of Corrective and Preventive actions
-
Assurance of compliance of QMS with relevant regulatory bodies / certifications
-
PPAP construction & compliance
-
ITAR / DDTC compliance as required
-
Management / Participation Certification audits
-
Management / Participation Internal audits
-
Management / Participation Customer audits
-
Compliance with Product inspection requirements and implementation of relevant systems

ISO / AS team
-
QMS Management Representative
Reports to: President
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
-
BS / BA or at least five years experience working in a related field
-
General competence and familiarity with Microsoft Office functionalities
-
Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions, ideas and concepts verbally and in writing using the English language
-
Understanding of and ability to perform advanced math functions, and statistical formulas (sampling plans, Cpk, means, modes, etc.)
-
Capability of adapting to changing plans, schedules and environments
-
Capable of self-directed activity such as managing workflow, prioritizing and resource management without continuous supervision
-
Capable of comfortably and safely conducting work within an industrial manufacturing workplace
-
Eyesight and physical strength commensurate with visual inspection requirements
-
Exposure to and understanding of ISO and AS standards
-
Exposure to and understanding of PFMEA and other risk analysis concepts
-
Exposure to and understanding of general OSHA requirements
-
Significant level experience in Quality Engineering
-
Advanced understanding of performing Corrective Action processes
-
Advanced knowledge of and experience with statistical process control and performance measurement concepts
-
Advanced knowledge of and experience with production order processing workflows
-
General exposure to cost accounting, budgeting and analysis
-
General experience with and exposure to basic manufacturing management functions
-
Capable of blueprint reading
-
Experience with contractual flow downs/ customer and product specific process specifications and successful experience with extensive customer interface
