Vibratory Tumbling
Microfinsh has extensive capability for production vibratory finishing of most parts. Bowl sizes range from 1 cubic foot to 100+ cubic feet systems. Our capability includes various size round bowls, tub vibrators, high-energy systems, and inline-through-feed systems. Our wide range of media types and media sizes gives us the finishing capability to provide process that range from simple deburring through near mirror finishing. In addition to the extensive tumbling capability, Microfinish has the following support capabilities:

• Anti-rust Coatings
• Media and Heated Drying
Microfinish has the necessary job processing controls in place to insure lot integrity during processing and is ISO 9001:2000 and AS9001:2004 Rev B Certified.
Variety of Tumbled Components
This photo shows a variety of parts that have been tumbled to correct many different application issues. With the variety of equipment types, sizes, and media variations, we can tumble almost any part configuration, material type, and part quantity.
Cleaned, Deburred, & Rustproofed
These specialized metal stamping were tumbled to clean and deburr and then post tumbling they are washed, rust-proofed, and dried. Careful packing with plastic and VCI paper protects them for an extended period while they are stored awaiting use by the customer.
Miscellaneous Small Components
These small parts highlight the variety of components that can be successfully tumbled. The proper selection of machine and media permit fragile items such as the brass rings to be safely tumbled to remove the stamping burrs on the edges of the part.
Gear Deburr & Polish
With the proper selection of machine and media, these gears were safely deburred and polished to provide improved equipment performance and reliability in the final assembly.
Production Finishing Knife Components
These knife components are tumbled in a multiple step process to quickly remove the rough machine marks and then uniformly finished. Additional operations are available that can apply a mirror-like finish to the blades.
